I wanted to see them do the finger hug from The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

She nuzzles Vash’s hair. Not worrying over her own body odor also allowed her to develop a newfound appreciation for his, though she still prefers him clean and fresh, natural honeyed notes under the bright scent of soap. “Even when you pulled me out of the desert that first time?” she asks. Vash wrinkles his nose. Even he is forced to admit it hadn’t been one of her most fragrant moments. “Technically, the bus driver pulled you out of the sand.” Wolfwood huffs, but can’t suppress a grin as she reminisces about that fateful day. “Not my best first impression.”

Excerpt from a fic: “You always smell good to me,” Vash breathes against her skin. Wolfwood had struggled to believe him when he said that, at least at first. Her old sweaty musk used to make her stomach turn, as did Vash’s; it brought back memories of crowded barracks full of indoctrinated teenage boys. One of the first and most welcome changes she noticed from her new hormones was the way they cut through her scent, turning it far milder and sweeter, to the point where she no longer felt the overwhelming itch to scrub herself raw as soon as she caught a whiff of it.

Vash, of course, knew what India was, but decided not to mention it lest the fellow depart on another lengthy tangent.”

Vash wished he’d gotten their shaving mirror out so that he could appraise his efforts. There was no logical reason why he would have. Not that there was logic behind anything happening in this room.”

Leonof the Puppet-Master defeats Vash and succeeds in turning him into a puppet. Wolfwood is left to pick up the pieces.
