Agreed. But in this case, I think that sophomoric inappropriate behavior helps them to not be easily categorized and dismissed by Maga as ‘woke’ or left-wing. Because they do it to everyone. Which I think gives them more impact and power. In this situation

Day after the Women's March, for reference, the Times went with a big photo and multiple small ones and had that take up most of the "above-the-fold" area.
