Years ago I received a phone call from the York police because they wanted to talk to my younger brother. Turns out he rented his car out for a store robbery and it didn't occur to the thieves to take the tags off the vehicle!

Cut them a little slack. Occasionally businesses are ordered to card every customer after being busted for selling to a minor. Also under the right circumstances I'd card you just to learn your first name and birthday.

That is a humorous truth. Although whoever the perp was isn't polite or thoughtful. One of the golden rules is unless you want an unpleasant experience never date a neighbor or coworker.

I loathe both major US parties & became a Libertarian in 1998. At the time its 'socially liberal & fiscally' conservative was the best fit. For the past 12 years the L party became silly and IMHO self-destructive. Around 2018 I changed to Independent.

I remember the story from my time in the Navy and hearing the song as a boy. That was a frightening thing to deal with.

Given the number of malicious people we have out there I think its a smart move. I'd even recommend that step for anyone in a public photo no matter what their profession is.

I only compare presidents to other presidents. We are on completely different tracks and that is my fault. My thoughts were about what I lived through and fought(argued/financed) for not any dead president.

That isnt' what I am saying at all. I'm telling you that is what people were saying. Living in 1987 Philadelphia I saw men wearing T-Shirts that said "Aids kills, but look at who its killing." Thats the attitude I was fighting. Getting folks to think of it as a threat to everyone took work.

I am talking about a disease that killed my Uncle and two friends of mine not politics. Trying to get people to care about the issue was infuriating but I will stop. Thanks for staying polite

I wasn't sanitizing him at all. In the late 80s people on the street told me hiv only killed gay people and drug users. Most of our country didn't seem to think about AIDS as a threat until the Kim Bergalis case. After that we started debating mandatory testing for infection.

Thanks. My parents worked in medicine their entire careers. I am aware of the timeline & the bias in American culture associated with the disease until ~1991. My point was Regan's focus was on defense, the economy & foreign policy. Things like preventing HIV, Hep B & TB were practically ignored

Been political all my life RR wasn't even aware of AIDS. The poor dude lost cognitive function in 87'. Wny you cussing? .......PS - My favorite Uncle died of that disease in 89. I am angry too but at different people.

Didn't know you had lost. Hope a good diet and routine will regain it back for you. I have the opposite problem. 11 years ago I had a severe tbi that changed my metabolism. I gained 27 kg and am no longer allowed to run.
