No heated bed either. Users were supposed to put masking tape down on the aluminum base and print on the plate. Do you know how much of a hassle it is to pull a print and tape off of a bed repeatedly? Fuuuuuuck that

Look how massive this thing is compared to its build area, next to my i3 Mk3 lmao

If you have some of the same neurodivergence I do that leads you towards appreciating tactile sensations, you're going to love how smooth that print feels hahaha

If you ever have issues, I like to use a Windex spritz or two and a paper towel after dish soaping. 90% or higher IPA works really well also but there's some mixed thought regarding it contributing towards the coating peeling prematurely.

Just so you're aware, my p1s intentionally rubs the nozzle directly against the plate LOL you worry too much.

Yeah since it was mostly the green color, I loaded the green into my AMS too, which has faster feed motors for color changes, the rest of the colors went in the old AMS

These printers were basically garbage, and now that the company doesn't exist you can't buy filament for them anymore. Requires RFID chipped filament. So.... let's slap some Marlin on here and see how bad the actual mechanics are!

Well those are mostly scratches in the layer of adhesive I had sprayed on top. But until the coatng starts flaking off you're pretty good. Scratches don't matter.

I heard the local weed shop was going to be open today so I thought this would be a fun idea, just dropped them off to the employees, definitely a hit hahaha. Yes I wish I'd come up with the idea like 2 weeks ago but hey it better late than never. At least *I* got to print some in time lol

Ah. Yes, it can be. I opt to use supports anyway, but .mostly they stay on the plate when the parts pop off 🤣

Not clear on the part you mean.

Support tmaterial was pretty much optional for almost everything, there's a lot of thought that goes into the design of the Prusa principles. One could argue they should probably be using injection molding at this point but hey. Not my business.
