Hopefully WoW continues TWWs MSQ pace. It really all felt important to me, I think, and did not skimp out on World Building.

I think there exists a 'optimal' pathway to do the whole story of Warcraft, starting from Vanilla, to now.

You'd just skip a lot.

I once agreed but so much of WoW is not important. Take the narratives of Darkshire & a lot of Ashenvale; they don't have narrative arcs start to finish. A lot of these zones are pure world building zones.

What relevance does Darkshire have to Cata as a whole, or any other expansion? None.
