Just wrapped up reading The Last Wish (first book in The Witcher series) and it was great! Love the semi short story format. Felt like “monster of the week”. A Question of Price was my favorite story. Might have to pick up the second book soon.

I just finished reading Legends & Lattes. It's described as a wholesome, fun, low stakes fantasy and that's a very apt description. I really enjoyed it! A very fun and easy read. You can knock it out in a day if you wanted to.

I've been working my way up in regards to page count. Now I'm tackling the new Stephen King book called Fairy Tale. I'm about 1/5th of the way through but already I really enjoy it. I really like King's style and pacing. Can't say much else since I still have a ways to go but I'm already impressed.

Another book I recently finished is called Theme Music. I very much enjoyed this one. The way the author described the paranormal casually as the narrator seemed to go insane was very well done and overall gave the creepy vibes I wanted from it.

My father passed away last week and it was recommended to me to get lost in reading. It's helped a lot. The first book I picked was Escape Into Meaning. I thought a collection of essays would be easy for me to get into and I enjoy The Nerdwriter YouTube channel.
