You nailed it @tylerblack.bsky.social.
This is the disposition of the modern man. We must learn how to counter it. The truth is that these kind of people, and there are now many of them in the world, are dangerous.

Donald Trump’s surgeon general pick, Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, has largely flown under the radar for her past vaccine advocacy.

But the reporting has missed her promotion of hydroxychloroquine, vaccine skepticism, anti-mask narratives, and supplements.

But we’ve got you covered.

🏳️‍⚧️FAQ for posterity:

Why do you use pronouns in your bio?

Because it's an easy way to promote inclusivity & to increase awareness of gender expression. It costs me nothing, &because I work with kids who are establishing their identity it shows that I don't make assumptions.

Swap out “the right” for “antipsychiatry” and it’s the same valid point.

Just a matter of time ‘til the trolling starts?

👏Suicides continue to fall in Canada👏

Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, there has been an ongoing decline (well past periods of pandemic) in suicide rates in Canada. Going to the end of 2023, we can see significant decreases.

Want to learn Japanese? My online teacher, Aki, has some available slots. She's lovely and thorough, and I really enjoy it. I've seen her for seven years now!

If you tell her I sent you, you'll get no discount but she will smile and make fun of me.

So aside from my favourite people moving here, what is "better" about bluesky? Like, specifically, what's in place for this space to not just descend into X in a year?

We are going to have to at some point have honest conversations about weaponized disinformation as a threat to human life. Adult, mature conversations. Not ones that say "but my free speech" or quote some slaveowner from the 1700s.

Ones that recognize that disinformation kills.
