Geo IP databases are also another issue of "age verification" gates. I may appear from VA because I'm so close to it, and this isn't entirely fair to the end user. Bluesky goes back and forth on requesting my age, I never fill it out because it always goes back to my normal location.

It's a bit baffling how unhinged politicians have become. Normalizing unprofessional words, and outright attempting to remove free speech, to calling for death of homelessness--not a good example.
