Yeah it's really good and I'm very glad our entire global infrastructure is being exploited to expand on this idiot idea! Maybe AI will put me out of a job and then I can just go sit in a field eating fruit all day as god intended.

Also the script is bad and could just like hard pull or something I'm sure but it's been in place for years now and it works so no one is allowed to touch it under penalty of d*ath

It wrote it, but it tried to delete the local files with rm -rf /, which I guess is fine because it forgot --no-preserve-root and didn't try with sudo and OH YEAH I TOLD IT I WAS USING WINDOWS. It said "Oh of course, my mistake, here's the corrected script" and it pulled out the old rd /s /q on me.

I have two more equipment swaps that I need to do and then I have to colo a backup server and roll out this stupid vpn router so it can tunnel back in. And then before end of Q1 I have another project I need to finish. On top of that I got a letter about jury duty.

Maybe NEXT TIME I'll just put some obnoxious esp-32 controlled lighted sign in the alley that says PLEASE TAKE MY TRASH TO THE LANDFILL and it's controlled by a tilt sensor on the can and some AI nonsense that can run image recognition on the truck to flash the sign at the guy? JUST A REMINDER!!!

So she said she would forward a note to the "operation team" and that she put a note on my account. A NOTE ABOUT WHAT, that I'm being a pissbaby about how my garbage wasn't taken for 4 days? Yeah, it's a small inconvenience, but don't try to blame me for this! I've already halfway filled the can!

lmao they said "oh that sticker is a reminder for next time" and I told her the note telling me to have my cans out at 6am when I had them out at 614am and the truck didn't even come until 1017 and then the dude just got out, walked around, and then drove away, wasn't really appropriate in any way

So I can still dump the dehumidifier bucket into the drain, I can still (in theory) drain the water heater into the drain, and eventually when I mop the basement floor to get rid of the remaining flood deposits I can also have the water go down into the drain.

I don't want to be that person but I'm going to call and complain about how offensive this sticker they put on the trash can actually is. It's not my fault the guy skipped me. It's not my fault that they said he'd come back and never did. And it's not my fault it took four calls to get this done.
