Grace came to us exhausted with 9 pups depending upon her. She had a deep neck wound filled with maggots, and despite the pain, she continued to feed her babies.
Grace has now fully healed. Thank you to everyone who helped us care for her, this would not have been possible without your support. ❤️

A female dog was reported to us from another city. She'd been used for breeding and this time was discarded after having given birth. Bleeding due to prolapsed uterus, our driver rushed to rescue but by the time he arrived she had passed away. Callous humans bred her to death 💔

Milo is our rescue pup from yesterday. Sadly his condition is worse than we thought as he's suffering from severe widespread pyoderma, which has progressed to septicemia. He's also anemic and has poor liver function. Vets are very worried about Milo, but are trying their best 🙏🏼

I write this with tears in my eyes and a heart heavy with pain 💔. Our sweet Ellen has gone over the rainbow bridge 🌈. Her absence has left a large empty space at the sanctuary, one that cannot be filled. Thank you for being our special girl. RIP, we will always love you 😢

Have just received some sad news 😢. Our Ellen is not in a good condition as she's fighting kidney disease. Our brave girl fought a cancerous tumour many years ago, a shy, sweet girl always in the background. Team have been advised to go and visit her, but I'm too far away 💔
