That's good to hear! My primary objectives with my son-to-be is for him to be healthy and kind, everything else is secondary. Glad to hear that others have that objective as well, I was worried about that!

Oh I remember the old Libertarians before they mostly became fash or crypto-fash, they were utterly reasonable for precisely 5 minutes. After that was completely bonkers rather than hateful. A simpler time.

There's a *lot* of moral purity culture in the United States that hasn't been unpacked, especially by people who make memes like this.

People who make memes like this know little and less about US (and global) foreign policy, except what jives with their (tbh often justified) anger about the US's actions.

Given Megyn Kelly's...opinions, I think it's literally this. As another poster whom I've rudely forgotten said, they're hoping to get this out of the news cycle if they can't avoid it.

I help run a medieval reenactment group, and the college kids...well...they read as kids to me. Even though they can drive and drink and all that, they're still kids.
