It's a shame Inkbound didn't do better, I quite enjoyed its faux-MMO vibes.
I am thinking back to the Monster Train 2 dev's previous game, Inkbound. It initially started as a live-service and then saw it fit to backtrack on that idea after seeing the writing on the wall. That alone convinced me to get it.
