Imagine how wild it would be if Zelenskyy turned to Trump today and asked him about the Epstein files... I first posted this on August 18th and yet today it's still relevant!! #nokings

Starting chemo next week with a really good prognosis, decided to buy myself a treat. I've never been a gamer but figure this will be a fun distraction

Kids in my street art camp this week doing flower mandala installations in the park, learning the fundamentals of stencils, graffiti coloring techniques and making designer toys. Pretty stoked for the next generation

The delivery guy insisted his truck wouldn’t fit in my yard and tried to dump the mulch out front—more work for me. He called me "sweetheart" twice and "honey," once. My math was solid, and I got my empire of dirt right where I wanted it, despite the misogyny. No tip for you buddy!

On the heels of the Met Ball and our recent trip to Japan, I've been wanting to explore more collaborative cultural conversations through fashion and design. A trip to CSU's Avenir research library yesterday was inspiring. Delighted that my hometown has the resources to support deep dives like this

Lewis Hamilton co-chairing tonight's Met Ball with a theme of celebrating Black Dandyism is the world I want to live in, not an erasure or suppression of race and culture, but a celebration of what makes being human. So wonderful

Since downsizing to two bedrooms, our sofa has become a limnal space for our daughter. Her visits shorter, I want to savor every precious moment as she barrels to her next mountain adventure, RMNP is lucky to have this brilliant, funny, sassy woman. Colorado cowboys don't stand a chance.

Looking back at photos from Japan two weeks ago and thinking about Earth Day, this pic is from Kinosaki Onsen a bathhouse town that is about to celebrate it's 1300th anniversary. The integration of nature into everyday life is something I wish we could aspire to more, goals!!!

The genius of science fiction is its ability to take any other genre and project upon it fantastical outcomes. I'm less interested in dystopian SF than books which examine democracy through that lens. China Mieville's The City and The City is timely and genius

Last night 's Read-in for Democracy was sweet and meaningful with folks sharing excerpts from their parents naturalization papers, the Constitution, Thoreau, Emerson, unknown queer essayists. Finding a community in person where we could share and talk was profound. Will do again

Hosting a Democracy Read-in this Thursday night at Wolverine Farm in Fort Collins. For the first part of the evening, we will read silently either our own books from home or things off the shelves then share excerpts and resources. Come build community with me!
