Twitter/X user pierre485_, who follows sales data on video games, has shared that the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold over 3.172 million units in Japan after 27 weeks of being available on the local market. This effectively makes it the best-selling console in the country, ahead of the Game Boy Advance, which sold 3.171 million units, and the PS2, which sold 3.112 million units, launch aligned. As seen in the chart above, the Nintendo Switch 2's sales milestone in Japan also means that the console's sales are more than double those of the original Nintendo Switch during the same time frame. 

Persona 6 is not in development hell and is being worked on internally by P Studio, according to a new rumor.
