Rather less angry than Chat GPT would have you believe. Also thinner on top.

Tries to keep up with sprogs 1-6 and all their mini sprogs. Hopelessly devoted to the Chair of Balham FC. Takes footie pictures.

Trying to get back into fencing.
10%?

That's a difference that makes no difference.

Though I suspect that the number of people who are out by a factor of 5 would be pretty horrifying. Meaningful data, please?

I fear that when we come to our senses it will be too late, and the immigrants will go elsewhere.

Isn't that the other side of the coin of Cameron's "employment miracle"?

Ooo, I do love a nice triptych!

I particularly like the one with the pea shooter talking a sneaky pot shot at one smugly showing off that they've moved on to books with pictures AND words.

I hadn't heard of the 1998 novel. Frankly, I'm a little surprised that someone would re use the title of Heinlein's 1959 novel that was made into a film.

I'm prepared to bet that it wasn't HIM who put the tree up before Christmas eve…

I am inclined to agree with him.

What is the source for this? It looks like an AI hallucination. For example, why aren't these retirement years integers?

Many people who retire at 55 retrieve due to ill health: are we to believe that their cohort on average live longer?

On average, people worked to 65. And lived to 80 ish.

All while the lifestyle news, the news that actually reflects readers real lives, is "the best party wear for Christmas".

From the catastrophism, you'd expect readers to be lapping up, "12 ways to cook your Christmas rat".

Perhaps this is a good time to reflect that a lot of us have a lot to give.

No.

But, as with any human agent, you are responsible for checking the result.

The tax system has checks and balances exactly because people make mistakes. I think this should be helpful.

Though TBH, in the 60s and 70s, (and, I suspect, the 40s and 50s, though I wasn't taking an interest), the Establishment did its best to support both rich and poor with a pragmatic paternalism.

It was only when the Thatcherite radicals took charge that they pushed the lever all the way over.

Oh, did you mean for OTHERS?

This country has always been divided.

The establishment has historically been afraid to tax the rich to feed the poor, for fear of the rich abandoning the country.

So the poor have abandoned the establishment.

Why is this hard to understand?
