Like: A church in Colorado experienced a split due to disagreements over the spelling of the word "Hallelujah." One faction insisted on using "Hallelujah," while the other preferred "Alleluia." This disagreement escalated to the point where it led to the formation of separate congregations.

And sometimes it gets just plain weird. It always amazes me when people argue about the correct English pronunciation of non-English words.

Just like the communists. I remember visiting Budapest and going to Momento Park. The Hungarians moved all (some, a lot?) of the Soviet statues to one place.

This is unfortunate, I would like to believe that people here (including me) can be more objective. But it is possible that it is just an overreaction to the normalization that we are faced with on a daily basis. We just feel like “enough already!” Maybe. Hopefully?

Taking bets .... he fires this pope within 90 days and appoints Steve Doucy to be acting pope.. Susan Collins will express deep concern but in the end Republicans in the Senate approve Doucy with only one dissent (not Collins).
