The app is mostly just an advertisement stuffed mess at this point… kinda surprising there aren’t more Snapchat clones tbh surely it can’t be that hard to replicate?

Most of the recent apple tech is just incrementally improved takes on their existing stuff. I miss having something new/odd/risky being shown off at these kinds of tech events. Everything seems to just be a flat glass slab now 🙁 That being said, I am interested in the new AirPods they seem cool

Consolidation of the web and the death of directory sites “simplified” how we engage with things. Before Reddit etc. existed you used to have per topic web forums or yahoo groups, geocity sites, tumblr being run into the ground also didn’t help. A lot of cool shit around the net is just gone now 😭

I don’t think it’s legal to copyright a common words… memory leak is IT terminology. Would be very stupid if they try and go legal with this. There are so many ways this could blow up in their faces…
