An interesting run, with a very weird end...
I completed the Jokerless challenge, by playing and levelling straights, and yet, although the game profile acknowledges that I've won and completed the challenge, the achievement on Steam has not unlocked... any ideas??

Been playing the Challenges a lot recently and I've knocked out quite a few in the past month - including this one which completed the "Cruel" run. All I've got left in the Challenges list left is the dreaded Jokerless! #Balatro #BalatroPosting

Decided to play something that wasn't Balatro tonight 🤯
Had a quick look into Peglin (I forgot I bought the full version on Steam lol), and then I had a go at Die In the Dungeon, which I was fortunate to pick up when the demo went live last year.
It was a bit of a slog but I won my first ever run!

Decided to play something that wasn't Balatro tonight 🤯
Had a quick look into Peglin (I forgot I bought the full version on Steam lol), and then I had a go at Die In the Dungeon, which I was fortunate to pick up when the demo went live last year.

It's finally happened! I've defeated Gold Stake difficulty on the Blue Deck!
Amber Acorn flipped my cards face down, but I had two Spare Trousers (+50), a negative Abstract, a Constellation (x3.8), a Seeing Double, a Driver's License and a Smeared.

It's finally happened! I've defeated Gold Stake difficulty on the Blue Deck!

Midgame was eh, but picked up after Ouija into Kings, selling an Invisible Joker and getting a 2nd Photograph. After picking up Baron and Space Joker, I pumped High Card up to Lvl 30+. Run died on Ante 13 with a new Best Hand of 3.6 billion!

Midgame was eh, but picked up after Ouija into Kings, selling an Invisible Joker and getting a 2nd Photograph. After picking up Baron and Space Joker, I pumped High Card up to Lvl 30+. Run died on Ante 13 with a new Best Hand of 3.6 billion!

I bought Balatro following the amazing runs seen at @gamesdonequick.bsky.social and @fastestfurs.com, and I am very pleased to say I got a win on attempt #3! Very enjoyable strategy game, looking forward to getting better at playing this game (and streaming it too!)
