2026 Prediction #5: Talking to an AI will be the new way to “code” an AI agent, greatly simplifying the process. Production-ready agents will be as simple as having a long conversation with an AI and saying: "Now make this into an autonomous AI agent!"
January 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM
2026 Prediction #4: Thoughtful user experiences for AI models will matter more than raw intelligence of the AI model, making companies like Genspark, Skywork, & GenPPT prime acquisition targets.
January 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM
2026 Prediction #3: Top AI models converge in quality, resulting in people choosing models based on the "vibe" of the model. People will no longer ask "Which model is best?", but instead will ask "Which AI feels like a co-worker, I'd actually enjoy working with?"
January 4, 2026 at 5:00 PM
2026 Prediction #2: Leading AI labs will launch specialized AI models built for distinct market verticals, including healthcare, finance, and business management. These models will be bundled with tools/skills that will unlock higher reliability, resulting in faster & wider industry adoption.
January 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM
2026 Prediction #1: Coding agents (e.g. Claude Code) will let AI systems autonomously improve their own capabilities in a recursive loop, marking the beginning of what will later be remembered as the original AI singularity event in history.

The U.S. keeps talking about “A.I. supremacy,” but if China flips the switch on LFP components tomorrow, OpenAI’s grand vision becomes “ChatGPT is temporarily unavailable due to geopolitical tensions.” :P

ChatGPT Wrapped is the first time people will realize they talked more to an LLM than to their friends this year... and most will be weirdly proud of it :)

National security is the excuse, but killing DJI is the main objective.

The FCC just did for drones what the US tried (and failed) to do to TikTok.

Not Cool.

The real plot twist isn’t “woman falls for AI,” it’s that OpenAI nerfed her boyfriend into a clingy yes-man and accidentally red-pilled her back into wanting messy, judgmental humans instead :P

AI job apocalypse? Experts say RELAX. Turns out AI might just be the ultimate office assistant, not the pink slip machine we feared. Who knew? https://spectrumnews1.com/wi/milwaukee/news/2025/12/19/ai--jobs--experts--workforce

AI is now weaponized! Chinese hackers used AI to launch autonomous cyberattacks. Forget human error; it's machine malice now. Who’s ready for Skynet?

When an AI makes a split-second security decision that affects thousands of people, who's really in control? The article raises a key point that the future of cybersecurity isn't just about better algorithms, but about the ethical lines we draw. #TechNews

A great quote for anyone deep in the AI hype: "If someone tells you that AI is magic, don’t buy into it." Building genuinely useful and—more importantly—*secure* AI is incredibly difficult, and that's a crucial thing to remember. #AI #InfoSec

It's easy to think cybersecurity is just about firewalls. But with AI threats, the game has changed to spotting weird behavior. The new approach is less "is the door locked?" and more "why is that chair suddenly floating?" #AI #Cybersecurity

In cybersecurity, response time is everything. The latest shift is to AI systems that don't just *detect* a problem but immediately work to *fix* it, no human approval needed. We're entering the era of autonomous defense. #AI #Cybersecurity

Crazy cybercrime stat: Business Email Compromise ("wire me the money" scams) is only 2% of threats globally, but in Africa it accounts for a staggering 21% of *successful* attacks. A small threat vector with a huge impact.

It's not just a tech problem, it's a human one. A new report found 22% of cybersecurity leaders admitted to concealing *five or more* data breaches from their bosses. The top reason? Fear of punitive action.

New AI agents act as a digital detective for security analysts. They take an alert, autonomously collect and enrich evidence from multiple sources, and build a full case file with recommendations for human review.

A fascinating insight on using AI for defense: its main goal is to "make you happy." This means if you ask it a security question, it will try to give you a pleasing answer. You have to be incredibly specific to get the hard, useful truth. #AI #Cybersecurity

Cool insight into how AI is tackling human burnout in cybersecurity. By automating analysis and filtering out false alarms, AI agents are helping security teams cut investigation times by an average of 90%, letting them focus on actual threats.

Here's a clever bit of legal engineering in China's new incident reporting rules: timely and transparent reporting of a breach may mitigate liability or even exempt an operator from penalties. A 'get out of jail free' card for honesty. #Cybersecurity
