The really bad stuff at present involves someone called Steve Witkoff, who no-one (apart from in US bankruptcy circles, presumably) had heard of a year ago, and who hopefully will soon sink back into obscurity

Cllr Elizabeth Campbell, Leader of Kensington & Chelsea Council, launched a petition against it - it will 'hit' the allegedly hard up in the likes of The Boltons & Egerton Crescent - same Council as Grenfell Tower - while hackers were stealing residents' data from her Council in a cyber attack!

The exact words were - though the Tories denied the leaflet was distributed by them - "if you want a nigger for a neighbour, vote Labour" - and sadly it worked. They took Smethwick from Labour against the national swing in 1964. Powell's seat was just up the road - Wolverhampton South West.

The Geneva convention defines a refugee as someone who cannot return to their country of origin for well-founded fear of persecution; under no circumstances can they be forced to return there (non-refoulement) but this wouldn't apply to a safe country that had already granted them asylum.

The BBC could offer him as an apology a TV channel for the evening to showcase 'At Home with the Trump's' and just let him ad lib into the camera all evening while showing off his Liberace styled White House interiors. If it weren't a tragedy for the USA & world, it'd be pure gold comedy

Sadly, just as a German businessman warned Merz this week 'minor corrections' no longer did it, voters have already judged these in the same light. No redrawing of taxation to stem wealth inequalities, Farage-Johnson Brexit unchallenged, ongoing demonisation of migrants, toadying to Trump...
