I really only recommend doing this if you want to find yourself humming Sakura Saku while doing laundry... But you are not missing anything if you've consumed any other works by either author (or most other shounen harems/romcoms)

I recommend ones with more unique upgrade systems (if you didn't like materia, you won't like magicite in 6), then I'd say look at the sphere grid from 10 (copied into a hundred other games these days) and the job system in 3/5/tactics, but if youre this deep into smt the challenge will be lacking..

Wyrmspan: it's wingspan but with dragons, and a lot less broken combos that make someone just pop off and make the most numbers you've ever seen. Still pretty fun though.
