Had never heard of this venue, so I looked it up. It was in Commerce, which had been incorporated just 6 years before. Essentially a livestock show ground, it hosted a variety of events, including the occasional concert (or freak off). Torn down in the ‘80s to make way for a housing tract.

I saw this band play (most of) this record at the Walker Museum in Minneapolis not long after it came out. It was spectacular. Hilarious moment: Mark Feldman’s own cell phone went off during one of his solos.
