I visited New York for the first time last year. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Glad I did because it I may never visit the States again.

Incorrect. America does not have allies any more. And probably wont for a long time. we are in the midst of the decline of the American empire. When the death throws begin it could be quite catastrophic for those in the vicinity as well as America herself.

Then Israel should stop building settlements there (and take away they ones already built) and New York synagogs should stop promoting people who advocate for these settlements. At the very least they should accept the criticism for it and stop calling people antisemitic for calling them out.

Ah. So you are saying the west bank is part of Israel then? If so shouldn't the Palestinians living there enjoy full citizenship rights? Native Americans have that ability in USA. Or do you prefer apartheid?

No one is attacking Jews. Rather it is the illegal settlement policy of the Israeli government. And yes if houses of worship are going to advocate this, then they should rightly expect criticism and condemnation for doing so.

Quite possible. Definitely that will be true for America. Quite possibly even Canada. So yes, I am very concerned. Which brings me right back to to people offering the reassuring voices that this is not yet fascism, and my concern for how they are only going to enable it.

I am absolutely sure they have been tampered with and all incriminating evidence against trump removed. Maybe even some extra stuff added to incriminate trumps enemies. Worry not. Trump will use this to his advantage.

Democrats in Congress should be saying loudly that there will be investigations into Trumps orders and that the military needs to be taking extra care right now to ensure they are on the right side of the law.
