It would make my life a lot easier if he were more food-motivated, but he never has been. (And he never eats everything in one go, ever. I give him a set amount and he grazes it alllll day.)

Unfortunately even when I was giving him the more exciting non-scrip food, he wasn't having it. I'm sure it doesn't help when it breaks his routine (giving him wet food at night when that's not normal, or giving him only a teaspoon in the morning because surgery); he clearly knows something's up.

(Honestly, with so much else to talk about, I didn't get into that in any detail. I've been attempting to administer the powder in his food, not pilling him, because that was so clearly a non-starter. I'll ask about it next time, which is a week from tomorrow, so.)

Do you know what kind of tree the wood was? It's probably a good idea to keep puppy away regardless, but those mushrooms have a lot of lookalikes and sometimes this info can help with a tricky ID.

Well, exactly. (Also hair and eye color are reasonably objective facts, but sex as a useful physical descriptor is much, much less so and prone to all kinds of abuses.)
