Did a bit of a value study, feels quite nice! Although the right side and the neck are completely screwed up, only noticed afterwards. Still a lot to learn.

Been trying to study some color, as well as some surfaces and been managing to doodle something, it is not great in any way, but it is a good start, imo.

I take my hat off to the artists who just draw with values and get a great results, correct perspective and such, this stuff is incredibly hard. My positioning, perspective and such are still lacking, but I will get there with perseverance, I hope. Goodness, artists are underrated.

Art is hard. Went to the new chapter with light and shadows, the exercise was very fun, but so hard! You have to accommodate so many things, negative space, proportions, perspective, light source, and many others. But honestly? I think I did capture the likeness, it's relatively pleasing to look at.

Bodies are so hard to deal with. The first image was my first attempt at understanding the method and such, just getting the feel, the second one is my recent try, the difference between the two are couple of days. Is there progress? I think yes. Is it good? Fuck no, lmao, still a lot to learn!
