Lawn bowls turf manager ok, greenkeeper, in the picturesque Clarence Valley of New South Wales. Masters swimmer and volunteer surf lifesaver, skilled in terrifying my crew in the rescue boat. Intraventricular meningioma and bacterial meningitis survivor.
Exciting afternoon on patrol: whilst in the water catching waves, the evacuation siren sounded-which I ignored but after it blared for a minute or two I realised a shark(code 16) had been sighted. Made a hasty exit. Straight into the rescue boat. 20mins searching, no sign of the noah.

The media keeps pushing the lie that fossil fuels are cheaper than renewables. They’re not. CSIRO and AEMO show solar and wind are far cheaper. The fossil fuel lobby funds the lie, and half our grid’s already renewable. The transition’s happening, like it or not.

Big storm outbreak north coast and adjacent inland NSW, right up into QLD, they copped it last night and earlier today. Hail up to 7cm. Right now at the Clarence R. Mouth, it’s dark, humid and rumbling. Supercells a strong possibility.
