Enderal is also a game that put me through the emotional wringer. It's really good, the romance I have played was really well written and the characters are very compelling. And sometimes it's a little scary, so be wary if spooky horror vibes isn't a thing you enjoy

skyrim if you're not afraid to use mods has some insanely good modded companions to romance, and if you own skyrim you can play Enderal which is an INCREDIBLE game made using the same engine which is why it costs nothing but requires that you already own skyrim
