But I do think you have point with the figure below. There are definitely more continua "at the upper-levels". In many ways this debate boils down to the issue of what sort of features are culturally penetratable (and how). And you are right that there are feedback loops to be taken into account.

Speaking of actual discourse: I'd say you are not 100% off, but there are serious issues, summarised below. Anisogamy does not:
- reduce all sex-related biology to gametes
- ignore features not correlated with gametes
- leave intersex individuals with no space
- recognise only two kinds of bodies

I've only watched/read a few things. I think she has - used to have - a few legit points, but also something, hmm.. problematic in the portrayal. I think the reasons for her descent are clear: controversy and polarisation sells. I'm looking forward to a time when this era is in the past.

Well yea, I can understand that there are issues. However, to my understanding there's an ancient (Roman) use of "Britain/British" ("Prettanike") for all these islands. Anyway, I've got no horse in this race. Clarity would be convenient, of course.

I've found the idea of AI-summaries weird from the get-go. LLMs make things up. If you summarise things with them, you'll need to check whether the summary is correct. What you need to do, in other words, is to read the paper (in relevant parts) and then check the summary. Why add this extra work?
