"he/she" gets changed to "they", and "his and hers" like in real estate gets changed to "dual en-suite" or the like. and if someone actually notices and really wants to bring it up and challenge me on it, they can walk away looking like the bigot. 🤷‍♀️

designers are lowkey gatekeepers of language. a lot of content will go through us as one of the final stops before being shown to the world, like on a brochure or a website. so i believe we have the responsibility to be doing more intentional work like that.

every time i come across this in copy for work i just sneakily change it. 😤
