Yeah. It’s difficult for me to come up with another answer after more than a decade of *all* of these people covering Trump day in and day out. On the few occasions any good reporter dares ask a real question, there’s never any solidarity from the others. The system is plagued with snakes.

I have to conclude that the people who put themselves in this position of power (beltway reporters with access) are almost every single one of them cowards and selfish, and have no sense of purpose outside serving themselves.

It’s entirely possible that Neil Gaiman woke up this morning and said to himself, “Maybe they’ve forgotten my crimes.” Unfortunately for him, we never will.
