I'm pretty sure you can if you play in desktop mode, but on Steam deck that's a little difficult lol. The front end of Steam OS is basically the same as Big picture mode in Steam, but you could probably get by with a wireless mouse and keyboard on the couch or something lol

SteamOS's variant of Linux is pretty easy to navigate at the end of the day, relatively similar to windows! It's made it pretty easy to mod stuff on Steam Deck at least.

Worst case scenario, a lot of the files like up between windows and Linux, so you can also use a flash drive lol
