Would someone let John know those are considered critical fields and they will still keep operating, they just won't get paid until it's resolved? They may need to clean their own bathrooms since the janitorial service will probably be shutdown during it.

I'm a Veteran & lots of DoD time in service. It's not that unusual for the U.S. top leaders to address the military. I've attended a few. It promotes Esprit de Corps. I took heart when it was reported that it was Trump officials clapping and the military members didn't - as regulations require.

So pre-WW2 then. And if we get attacked again? Would we expect anyone else to defend us or will all the millions of casualties be on us alone? It seems any enemies of our country would see this loner status as a really good opportunity to try to bring us down.

#TheWeekend Jackie stated Bondi had a point about Garland. Did she? Garland is the only AG who got a conviction of any Epstein accomplice. So rock solid no appeals worked. And he didn't mouth off during it possibly ruining the conviction or other cases. Both sides didn't do this Jackie.

This is done, stop the rest if we can. Now it's time to focus on contacting lawmakers to require humane conditions. That is something we can accomplish. Laws requiring conditions DHS must meet or repercussions like criminal charges, firings, etc.

I'm all for taking out the trash all over our gov't, but realistically, at this moment, what Republicans are going to vote for impeachment? It takes a majority. What Rs in the Senate will convict? It takes a supermajority. Being unrealistic with your goals doesn't help.

You do know you have control over what the algorithm shows you? A few times of "show less of these", muting threads or even accounts, and blocking the worst and you won't be seeing those. It all involves in what and how you interact. You are seeing only a very few of all the posts made every day.

Coming from the person who thinks he is highly respected and has the highest poll numbers and the greatest economy. Trump is delusional, lives in an alternate universe, and it affects his ability to make sound decisions.

I think the transgression here is actually her intentionally going into the search history for this hearing so she would know in advance what they might ask. Most computers track your searches unless they are set to delete. It's typically for convenience of repeated searches.

I would add: Biden's DoJ is the only DoJ to convict anyone for Epstein's sex trafficking. Maxwell was convicted Dec 2021, sentenced June 2022, immediately appealed, where finally Nov 2025 the appeal was shutdown by the Supreme Court. Thanks Biden for not screwing this up like Trump would've done.

For those who have forgotten sanctions were put on Russia when they invaded Crimea, then more sanctions including the oil were put on when they invaded Ukraine. Countries scrambled to find alternative oil. So we'd be taking off the sanctions we put on because the reason to sanction would be removed.

Unintended consequences: 1) Women will stop changing their last names when they get married. 2) There will be a huge number of people changing their last names back to their birth certificate (cheaper than a passport). Unless the courts throw it out as unconstitutional. I think this is very likely.

I don't get why nobody talks about the Bush DoJ in 2007-2008 who handed Epstein over to Acosta in Florida to get dealt that sweetheart deal? The Feds had a good case - why did they blow it off?

Except the October Senate hearing on Bondi when she was being questioned on weaponizing the DoJ after she indicted Jim Comey. That was pretty bad too, and she had a reference book in that one too.

For years I check the amount in my retirement acct every Tuesday. I've noticed the last year even with stocks going up, I heard it's only 5 or so tech stocks - explaining why I have seen very little increase in my account compared to prior years. Apparently my investors don't invest in tech stocks.

Ukraine is under constant attack from Russia. Other countries in wartime situations don't hold elections. How exactly are they going to campaign? How do you protect polling places from Russian bombs? Zelenskyy has been in place for less than 7 years, far less than Putin or most American presidents.

Any bets Russia bombs polling places? They bomb hospitals and schools, why wouldn't they bomb those too?

They are trying to say the military was going to test anti-drone lasers. Except the military wouldn't test something like that in populated areas. They have many - many ranges, out in the middle of nowhere deserts, they test weapons at. They are still lying about this.
