The problem you're missing is that the president himself, tons of republican "leaders", and the news channel are baselessly blaming it all on democrats, and many people blindly trust these sources without evidence or thinking about it at all.

The culture surrounds itself in over-dramatization because it's often youtuber-driven, and it's better for engagement to lump archival efforts (or sometimes just piracy) into "Lost Media Searches". If we know someone has it and they won't share, it's not lost, but it's good clickbait to lump it in.

Clickbait uses the term loosely because it's good for engagement. It's not "recovery", that would be diving into dumpsters to find copies of things nobody has. It's usually asking people that already have it to share it. My personal emails aren't "lost" just because I won't share them with you.

The term is used loosely so I get it. At a minimum:
If you asked publicly a few times (bsky, twitter, reddit, 4chan, ect), and you contact the devs/publishers if possible, do you think it's possible someone would actually provide a means to get it? If so, it's not Lost, just hasn't been looked for.

You wouldn't call your car lost just because you don't share the keys publicly. Likewise you wouldn't call your car lost if your spouse borrowed it just because you don't know where it is right now.

Right now it's unconfirmed. It becomes lost only once we're sure nobody has it, which is unlikely.

Lost Media means you people as a whole have no access it, not that it's not available to you personally. It only becomes "Lost Media" if it's nowhere, and as 1 person there's no shot you actually verified there's no torrents for it anywhere let alone that it's not on some obscure piracy sites.

Those people are judgemental, ignorant, and just want to complain. We literally haven't even seen all the modes of the game yet, Sakurai was clear there's other modes. The teaser at the end seems to imply some form of major story mode because they made a brand new villain for this title.

It really just comes down to moderation. If people got long bans up to permabans for inexcusable behavior then you'd quickly see that dry up. Either because people behave better or the worst people can't join anymore. That's the difference between Steam discussion forums and something like Discord.

One of the only officially confirmed details is that it will still play Switch games, in a similar system to 3DS still playing DS games.
