I haven't had this happen with the device running as it comes (stock), but the fact it does it when you use non-Steam additions to improve your experience is really frustrating.

iirc you're -supposed- to disclose it but nothing will happen if you don't, since it's up to the whims of whoever is working that day on if they want to actually take action or not. most companies will disclose it since it's a lot worse if it comes out after the fact than if it was already listed.
