Hopefully the likes of Catrin and colleagues will continue their vital work in that direction. My adult SLT colleagues at Wrexham are well placed to supervise if they do. 🤞🏻

This is definitely something I’ve discovered moving to Wales. There is a real dearth of Welsh language resources. I think the starting point is getting normative data. Luckily in paediatrics we have Prosiect Pengwin happening. Hopefully there’ll be more adult resources soon too

In short… no… but it appears that therapists in North Wales tend to assess informally in Welsh.
The development of Welsh Language assessments appears to be high on the agenda given that other minority languages e.g. Basque have translated versions of standardised assessments.
