Their music was actually pretty good but stage presence was not strong (they barely moved) and the songs were quiet and understated. I did not know of them heading in. Most of the issue I think for me was them opening for Garbage, a loud, dynamic band. It was a mismatched pairing by the promoters.

and, yes, many female singers have sexy voices and songs. Terri Nunn, Chrissy Amphlett, Stevie Nicks, and so many more. But Hoffs is the one singer I know that just through her voice made Mondays sexy.
