And as we've seen, overqualified Black and Latinx students are denied admissions at higher rates than anyone else. If affirmative action did anything, it forced universities to look at these applicants but it did nothing to make gains, let alone level a playing field. www.vox.com/2016/5/25/11...

These funds tend to be for medical research, scholarship aid, and alternative housing, things that have nothing to do with the original claim of anti-semitism. In the interview, Greenblatt did not seem remorseful about this harm.

The clear headlines are always about the money with some using a misunderstanding of an endowment to dismiss the claim and others being outraged at the amount being disproportionate to the amount already frozen.
