i’m a strict purist in that i think it looks perfect as-is - GMDX barely touches the visuals compared to most overhaul mods - so it’s really just alterations to a few systems with a focus on remaining faithful to the original. i suppose i’d never be happy with a remaster, but my god, what a bad job!

after all the great work the GMDX mod team have done to faithfully update and add QOL improvements without fucking up the original game, it’s so funny to see a professional team just slap AI upscaling on all the textures and try to call it a remaster
