I couldn't resist the other place yesterday! I've got to make myself stay away more. I'm going to really try to take a break but then use this place more 😊

Thank you. I've got kefir so maybe I'll try the bread put & see what happens..That would be good. If I need any more advice on it I'll DM you. (I've decided to try to take a day or two off social media as spending too much time on it but hopefully see you here or there again soon)

I've bought sour dough bread & like it a lot. I'm nervous to try it myself as not sure I'll be able to feed it regularly enough. If my health improves I'm definitely giving it a go. Maybe I'll try anyway & see what happens

I really want to try sour dough. Wonderful that yours is so well travelled!

Including doctors in my case. I've luckily found good doctors but one previous GP wrote on my notes that I had an "irrational fear of Covid" because I wanted to wear a mask to hospital appts. I'm immunosuppressed... (But even if I wasn't, everyone's at risk from SARS

That all looks delicious! I love rye bread 😊

My health makes it difficult to bake bread sometimes but I like to try when I'm up to it. Mine don't look anywhere near as good as yours tho!

I'm eligible cos immunosuppressed - but the vaccines are given in busy crowded public places (including indoor shopping malls) with almost everybody maskless.

I thought it was only here in the UK that was restricting access. Seems Spain is as bad, I'm sorry. Here it's only aged 65+ or if in narrow list of CEV (which doesn't include many of most vulnerable - tho of course everyone is vulnerable re SARS)

Also what is the economy for - if not the people/society? I wish general public would realise that an economy that only works for tiny number of "elites" isn't one worth having
October 22, 2023 at 12:50 PM
Maybe short-term but I don't see how lots of people being made disabled by SARS helps the economy longer term. And already there's so many places short staffed with people off sick. So it's not only morally better to have simple airborne mitigations but also economically better

I've recently experienced it with a neighbour. They're elderly so I've been trying to encourage them to wear masks. Until few months ago they seemed to be listening. Now they get annoyed & refuse to answer me if I ask about masks when they go to healthcare appts. I've had to give up
October 22, 2023 at 12:46 PM
That's a good idea taking a spare. I have spares for when electricians etc come round. I also call ahead when health appts. Had to find a new consultant as when I called the secretary got really hostile & starter rantinh about masks saying they were "impossible" to wear...

Yes it's that constant risk of homelessness. It's bad enough even before the pandemic - but now million times worse. With a secure home there'd still be the risk of going to healthcare appts but at least would be able to stay safe at home.
