After all these years in Sweden, I have finally managed to see Gävlebocken (The Gävle Goat🐐). And it's still standing!!

(Curious? Yes, it's totally worth googling to learn about the significance of this straw goat)

One of my 2023 highlights was to see my first Main supervised PhD students @hjorvik.bsky.social defend his thesis ~3 weeks ago. Working with him, and experiencing his interest and drive has taught me a lot, not just about 🐑
