Not a bad idea, but I'm a little worried that needlefelting that much material would take forever and be too fragile to wear at a convention.

to be a bit more explicit: I want a big poofy patch of wool to put a sheep skull on top of so I can be a fucked up evil wizard. It's got to at least appear voluminous and wooly and has to cover up everything that isn't a skull.

The sequel Sunless Skies is a fair bit better about this. in Seas they're absolutely expecting you to die pretty often, which was my big sticking point with it, too.
