I dunno if he would fit with the worldbuilding but if you need a snarky, vindictive pyromancer with an explosive temper, Spitfire could do a good job of being a villain! (he's already basically an anti-hero as it is lol)

i've avoided tons of things i know i probably would have liked so i totally get that lol. sometimes you just know it's gonna be Too Powerful to handle at the time

Like tbh I feel like if people struggle with modern editions of SR they should just try 2E or 3E instead of like, trying to 'square peg, round hole' it. I've been having a blast GMing 2E for folks and it's super easy to back-port things like qualities.
