absolutely impossible to take seriously, but like, that has to be on purpose. Resident Evil is too consistently funny for this to be an accident. That aside, fantastic time all around. Another game I can beat in an afternoon added to the list 🔥🔥🔥(3/3)

Did Jill's run on normal and Chris' on Hard and man was did it kick ass to know the map on that second run. Felt unbelievable to shorten the run by this much. Game looks amazing too for being an upressed Gamecube game. In spite of seeming much better than the PS1 version, the VA is still-- (2/3)

(#62) Resident Evil Remake
Excellent game, and a much scarier one than RE4. Not like RE4 is trying to be all that scary, but this game excels at creating tension, escalation, and fear. I thought fixed camera angles would be hard to adapt to, but the game uses them so well, you adapt quickly. (1/3)

- due follow-up or evolution in an X2. This game deserves more appreciation, for sure. Granted, I feel like Chapter 13 spits all over that, but that's a rant for another day. This game was great. I loved it, and will 100% make a video on it one day (not very soon though). (6/6)

Definitely still undercooked compared to its siblings, but nonetheless makes up for that with its quests IMO. I'd give this game the crown in that regard. Just living in Mira is one of the most enthralling gameplay loops I've gotten hooked on. I really hope this game's approach will get its- (5/6)

Overdrive especially I'm like ??? but I get the feeling I'll be coming back to learn sooner than later. The base game's story was better than I was expecting given the game's reputation. The Mimeosomes are a brilliant world-building concept to explore and Lao ended up being best boy IMO.(4/6)

Easily the most fun Xenoblade game to just screw around and explore in. Wild how detailed and layered Mira is for a world brought to life on Wii U. Game looks fucking gorgeous, no surprises there. Skells are the best unlocks in any Xenoblade game, bar none. Their combat is whatever, but flying-(2/6)

(#61) Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition
I finished this in like April but didn't wanna write this until I beat Chapter 13... Didn't have the motivation to do that until just now. Didn't miss much either, I do not like Chapter 13 very much, but the rest of the game is kino. (1/6)

I don't know if it's because it's a fully 3D game and I had only played top down entries exclusively... maybe it's because the game's open world, but I've had so much more fun messing around in Violet than I have any of the previous Pokemon games I've played. Like, this felt amazing to pull off:

(#60) Tall Girl (re)
This is one of the staple “so bad, it’s good” movies I love watching with my brother & sisters. It’s comically insane and just keeps escalating until the credits, it’s pure comedy. Every character is right out of a Looney Tunes cartoon, they’re funny but also awful people. (1/3)

(#59) Good Will Hunting (re)
When I wrack my brain thinking of what movie would dethrone Spider-Man 2 as my favorite, this one’s the big contender. I can relate to Will massively in his fear of taking steps to bigger things, being vulnerable, willing to leave your bubble… it strikes me deep. (1/2)

Game 22 - October 24th - 8 - Goomba’s Booty Boardwalk
REALLY close one! I was the only one who didn’t land on the green space of death at the home stretch. Taught my sister that the lucky space is 2 after the first dolphin ride… because I’m definitely cool for knowing that off the top of the dome.

Game 21 - September 11th - 8 - Koopa’s Tycoon Town
Forgot to upload this one, LOL. Remember having decent conversation this game… otherwise was wicked one-sided all game.

Resident Evil (2002) Spoilers:

Is Resident Evil the funniest game series or what? "Why eliminate S.T.A.R.S.?" is ruining me, dude 😂😂. Is it supposed to be funny on purpose??? Jill's delivery of every line in this scene is ruining my life.

My sister definitely clocked what game series I got into this year. Guess dressing up as Edgeworth didn’t hide anything either.

There is something strangely captivating about the main group. I don’t find any of them particularly compelling emotionally, but they just look cool as fuck together. They bounce off of each other quite well and seeing them each get a moment to shine was satisfying. Overall, “Good Grief”/10 (6/6)

(#58) JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders
This shit is crazy. That’s the most apt way I could describe the experience of watching this. The animation is consistently beautiful and makes a lot of expressive changes in style, palette, and tone. When it wants to be beautiful, it can be. (1/6)

I love Leon so much, he's so damn funny. Also the ideal game to play in autumn/spooky season, matches the vibe supremely. Only complaint is that the Island portion of the main campaign feels like it goes on a little too long. Hardly enough to matter though, game's peak, I'm afraid. (2/2)

(#57) Resident Evil 4 (re)
Earns its status for a reason, it's hard to not get roped into the gameplay loop in all of the modes. Playing with Gyro on PC with the RE4HD texture project just made for a heavenly experience. Game is exactly as hilarious as I remembered it being. (1/2)

Took me too long to get back to it, but I've officially jumped past the infinite scripting loop I've been in for months and have hit the Resolve timeline once more. Feels pretty good! Excited to talk about something that isn't an RPG at-length for once 🙏

(#56) Over the Hedge (re)
One of the Dreamworks movies I’ve not seen in around a decade. It’s pretty funny, the soundtrack’s good, and RJ is the villain holy WOW. I severely blocked out of my memory just how manipulative he is to EVERYBODY. Good moral though, and most importantly, pretty funny.
