Fun fact. He doesn't wear eye-liner or generally any make up at all and actually generally has concelser applied to reduce his natural looks.

#nowwatching The Dark Knight with my son. He grew up watching Batman TAS and has a hankering for something more "serious". We watched Begins the other week and he loved it. Dark Knight is imo the best of the trilogy by a wide margin. Excited to revisit!

#nowwatching The Dark Knight with my son. He grew up watching Batman TAS and has a hankering for something more "serious". We watched Begins the other week and he loved it. Dark Knight is imo the best of the trilogy by a wide margin. Excited to revisit!

Have I ever bought a big box of warham. Also no.
The $420aud price tag is bonkers but none GW retailers have it for $290aud which is in the realm of possibility for me if santa helps me out some....

The bigger snapped off his base just above the bell. Probably should have gone lighter on the dry brushing lol.
Anyway I've rewatched it with super glue and bicarb to give a stronger but textured bond. Gonna turn that texture into rust. Tilted him forward slightly to give the illusion of motion..

Had to wait a long ass time for the oderless spirits to dry off the model. Now I'm tinting the skin with blues and pinks as well as base coating the wounds and such.

Don't think I let it dry for long enough. Ended up removing more than I'd like but I think this makes for an interesting base to start applying tints and effects too.

Normally you'd do an enamel wash and remove the excess after doing all the base coating.
Well since I'm going to be mostly using transparent paints for anything not metallics I'm going to do it now and see how to effects things.

Messy base coat of some of the metals. Not really sure on the scheme yet but thinking yellow/greens and then some brighter blue verdigris on the armour to contrast.
Need to think up another colour for the bugs armored sections tho...

Finally got my hands on Hot Streak. This is a very fun and easy to play betting game that can be taught in under 5min.
I sold my copy of Camel Up to get this and imo I vastly prefer Hot Streak even tho they are quite similar in a lot of ways.
