Hopeful new patients stand in line outside Lodge Causeway Dental in Bristol early this morning, where the practice announced it was taking on new patients. People have stood in a queue from around 7:30 am to just register as a new patient. (Vid- Paul Gillis)

I was there as a group put the last flags up & it was getting feisty

Chaos earlier as a small anti-immigration protest tries to gather outside a hotel in Bristol city centre & are met by hundreds of counter-protesters.
Police have now had to completely shut down Bond St, the only centre-M32 main road

What I think depends on what hours/days it will operate. They won’t tell me until they get everyone’s opinions. What a ridiculous way of doing things

Currently a stand off in Bristol. Around 80 anti-immigration protesters are being stopped from marching to a converted hotel by around 400 counter protesters, separated by a wall of police five officers-thick.
