The Utah State Legislature is getting under way, so here’s your guide on “How to Speak Legislature” from some Capitol Hill-types that I encounter regularly: www.fox13now.com/news/politic... #utpol #Utah

i was talking with someone in the twin cities about how it’s not even accurate to call them protesters. they’re literally just people protecting their city from TERRORISTS.
Every time the Trump regime uses the words "funded protesters" and "outside agitators" news outlets need to cut to this photo from last week.

ICE has invaded these communities. Outside agitators don't show up in their fucking bathrobes.

Quick reminder: comment sections are not reality. They are not proof that the Trump regime, ICE, or political cruelty are popular or normal.

They are not.

The smartest thing JD Vance said in his MAGA fueled theatrical press conference today after ICE murdered Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.

We'll see you there, Skippy.

The ACLU is suing Utah over its book banning law, and the framing matters.

Below is a thread from Representative Ken Ivory showing how lawmakers use fear based language to misrepresent a complex constitutional issue.

In 2026 I’m not going to argue with MAGA about the meaning of “free” in “free” healthcare, “free” childcare, or “free” public transit. They already know what it means. Let them waste their own time.

In a bid to reclaim deteriorating attention spans, a social media trend has young people sharing videos of themselves doing … absolutely nothing. Some last 15 minutes.
Boredom Is the Latest Online Trend Trying to Sharpen Young People’s Short Attention Spans
Boredom, or an approximation of it, is an online trend for young people trying to sharpen their attention spans.

Was a great speech Zohran Mamdani gave this morning. A politician who speaks in complete sentences and leads with positivity and compassion first is pretty refreshing.

Noticed I was unfriended, and it’s funny how something so small can stir old memories. It was another life back then, and I’m grateful for where I am now. I still love them and their family, and want nothing but the best for them.

Fifth night of Hanukkah, past the midpoint and into the rhythm of the season. A good moment to slow down, be present, and appreciate the simple comforts and traditions that carry us forward. Wishing a peaceful night to all who are celebrating. 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️

Well, shit. According to MAGA, that's my resume.

I'd probably tip the #Amazon Driver if they would start following my delivery instructions and stop leaving "It was handed directly to a receptionist or someone at a front desk." when it's left on my front porch.

I deleted a TLDR reply this morning without reading it. When you point out how childish and unserious Trump is, like the plaques he put up in the White House, there is no defense. It stops being a discussion and turns into a personal attack.

Remember when Facebook said "It is free and will always stay free"? Well, much like Google removed "Don't be evil" from their Code of Conduct in 2018, apparently 'always' doesn't mean 'always' to Meta.

They've already begun limiting outbound links to two per month for standard (free) accounts.

Our hearts are with the community in Australia and everyone affected by the tragedy at Bondi Beach. In the face of such darkness, holding onto community and love is the only way forward. May this light be a symbol of our unwavering solidarity.

Security isn’t about perfection—it’s about layers.
Mine: rotating nonsense emails + passwords, quarterly updates, 2FA, and a strict “don’t click dumb stuff” policy.

Imagine if all posts were public, but when someone comments on one of your posts for the first time, you're presented with their ten most recent interactions and are given the option to approve or block.

I’m pretty sure my son has biologically evolved beyond the need for oxygen. He has been sustaining a single, continuous run-on sentence since 9 AM without inhaling once. Guinness, get the plaque ready.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. I am thinking of every trans life taken too soon and everyone who carries the weight of this day. To my trans friends, I stand with you. You deserve safety, joy, and a future filled with possibility. You are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone. #tdor

This is odd, it looks like the DOJ skipped suing Texas entirely. The Justice Department is now suing California over the new congressional district boundaries that voters approved just last week, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday in a post on X. Who are they going to sue, the voters?

Once you realize they’re all just trolling, everything makes sense. They don’t believe what they say, they just want a reaction. You can’t reason with people who aren’t being serious. Stop feeding the chaos.
