Oh hey another social media site. What is this, 2005?

Alexandria, VA resident. Quickly becoming radicalized on local politics by Blue Sky. Shitposts are my own.
And I even tweaked it an it. Summoning a familiar isn’t that complicated component wise but I decided to get the plane you want, you need special stuff. Gonna send the PC somewhere special to collect material to summon a fae.

Regular magic shop won’t have it — gotta go to a black market.

In games I play in, it’s ignored often.

In the game I run, my core player is a fighter so hasn’t mattered but I am enforcing it for the DM PC wizard specifically for story purposes.

It’s an excuse to send my player to the city because the wizard doesn’t want to leave the tower.

Honestly this is the most reasonable explanation

Fair. I just feel like this is a “you merely adapted the darkness, I was molded by it…” moment.

That said I am more bothered by the not knowing the old magic part than I am generational hair splitting.

I thought the house sitting bit was pretty fun so it evened out.

Honestly the memes about perfect teleconferencing with video through space being the most unrealistic thing about Star Trek is still spot on.

I'm waiting for the company to look at the routes people do take, decide to start making some set ones that pick up and drop off people along a set route for a discount, and then move to larger Waymo vehicles to accommodate.

Because ultimately all these companies just recreate the bus eventually.

I’d also love a walkable coffee shop higher up the avenue too. District Biscuit is great but not a coffee shop.

The Streets space has been empty for years now. Probably some other stuff open closer to the core of the avenue too.

Ugh.

It’s funny because it doesn’t matter which Ocean City. Works in Maryland too

I’d be more sad if they were not well past their prime and known for horrible labor practices.

The brewpub was fun like 15 years ago when we had a meal there. Hazelnut liqueur they made was solid at least.
