24. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

5/5 - a fucking banger from beginning to end. I was so emotionally invested, I cried a couple times. Rocky is the best past of the whole thing. It's the most sciencey book I've ever read.

I can definitely see why it's so beloved. I haven't read any of his other works but I did like the Martian movie, so hopefully it turns out like that!

I also just learned Ryan Gosling is playing Grace in the adaptation and..... Hmm. Idk. Grace is animated, he gets excited, there's a lot of emotion. And I guess I just don't relate Gosling with those emotions 😔

I did see a couple editors who I really like so I'll be putting a couple of them on my shortlist! Thanks for the rec!
