Still no sign of Lost Footballs here on Bluesky...but anyway, here is a lost football in Western Rd, Tring.

Paid homage to the last good U2 album while I was in Berlin.

Achtung Baby.

The opening track is "Zoo Station".

Just leaving Berlin after a long weekend here.

Moving through a city where some of the most evil people ever to live devised and enacted their abysmal eradication of the sick, the disabled and those of a race deemed unfit to exist.

It has been deeply disturbing and moving experience.

"Do you remember, dancing in stilettos in the snow?

Yep, a year ago.

Another horrible post from social media. Can AI not generate a font in white, and avoid colouration from the Victorian era?

Although apparently, for some, the truth is this ⬇️

Can you believe there are people out there who believe this?
November 10, 2025 at 7:29 AM
Are there really people who believe that there is a dog shit fairy?

You just leave your bag in the pavement or tree and it gets cleared up overnight.

Shouldn't be allowed to own a dog.

An animatronic Santa in the doorway of a newly opened Greek restaurant in Tring...last night, the 8th of November. Just two hundred metres away the town's annual fireworks display was going on at the cricket club.

If you see this post an album cover with a motor vehicle on it.

A wonderful evening at the Tring Book Festival night at the Baptist church, with comedian and author @robinince.bsky.social and Prog guitarist Jakko Jakszyk discussing family history, mental health issues, poetry, music.

Jakko improvised music strands to accompany Robin's poetry

It is often touted that Walter Rothschild tamed zebras at Waddesdon & Tring to pull carts and traps.

In this image (courtesy of the Waddesdon Manor website) if you open fully you'll see a regular horse at the front. No doubt to control the crazy zebras.

He did have a 1 zebra trap though.

I've earned this one.

Tring Brewery "Liberator".

&

The new "Piggeries" bar is taking shape nicely...a really welcome addition the Tring's drinking landscape.

Morning all.

There's a lot of arseholes in the World, doing shitty things to each other, us and the planet.

So let's focus in those near and dear to us, and to our local environment...start from there.

Can I recommend @jcheall.bsky.social , I buy his "work" quite often. Just a great painter.

The photo on the right was taken by me (possible on the same day but 60 miles north of John's viewpoint?).

Saw my first* image last week.

The autumn gig schedule kicking into gear nicely with a show by Grant Lee Phillips at The Lower Third in Denmark St (my 4th new venue of the year, and I'm impressed!).

Always a great entertainer with a lovely rapport with his fans.

Songs of yearning, a lost (?) America, love and optimism.

Oh come off it, I'm skint. I'm a man of the people, in no way compromised by contact with any Russian oligarchs, agents, or their wives*.

Just a regular mustard trouser wearing traitor to my country.

Go on, gimme some cash!

*They don't like my fagash death breath apparently...
