I’m sorry the internet is full of these morons.

And It's incredibly sad that people have been put in the unenviably position of looking to this event as some small form of justice or retribution, by the same people who will continually seek to gain from peoples' misfortune.

I'm not sure what else to say other than... Yeah... I get why people are pissed. I get why people feel the way they do about the UnitedHealthcare CEO. Maybe it just seems like some sort of comeuppance for egregious industry practices. Cathartic even.

Many are forced to delay preventative screenings and procedures because insurance companies refuse to pay for them, and what could have been a simple procedure then becomes a chronic illness or condition that often drains more financial resources from people who are already strained.

I cannot fathom having to make the choice between paying for life-saving medication and putting food on my children's bellies, but that's a choice that millions of people in America have to face on a daily basis.

There are MANY great healthcare professionals who truly want the best for their patients, and they deserve all their flowers. The healthcare system in this country, though, is broken and they are forced to work within its constraints.
